Hands, to strum the chords of life
Feet, to keep the beat.
Voice, to shout and tell about what He's done for me.
Ears, to hear the simple truth. Eyes, to see the light.
Heart, to feel His presence when His love is in your life.
Everything I have is a gift from Him,
And when I have the urge to thank Him and rejoice,
I live out the Psalms of what King David said,
And make a joyful noise!

Daddy

He greets me with a hug as he welcomes me back home.
His smile's a welcome sight for me to see.
The spirit in his laughter brings back years of memories.
It's great to have him back again with me.
"Daddy", the first word that I'd ever say.
I know he still remembers the day I called out his name.
"Daddy". He gave me everything that I had.
Lord, thanks for every moment with Dad when I said "Daddy".
She greets me with a hug, as she welcomes me back home.
Her smile's a welcome sight for these poor eyes.
The joyful sounds of laughter warms this weary traveler's heart.
She speaks her precious words which make me sigh:
"Daddy", the sweetest sound that I've ever heard.
My heart melts whenever the word is spoken to me.
"Daddy", a small voice calling for me,
Lord, help me answer patiently, when I hear "Daddy".
He'll greet me with a hug as He welcomes me back home.
The welcome sights and sounds of heaven ring.
Joyous spirits singing the praises of His name,
The Universal Father, Lord and King!
"Daddy", the sweetest sound that He ever hears.
He's tuned into my life with both ears, listening for me.
"Daddy", a small voice calling for Thee.
Lord, help me to wait patiently when I pray "Daddy".

I don’t have to work my way to heaven.
My ticket is PAID IN FULL.
I don’t have to worry ‘bout a single thing,
It says so in the Bible.
All I have to do is trust in Jesus,
Accept His gift of grace.
Heaven is my final destination
My Lord is present every place!
Fishin’ on the bank of the mighty Mississippi
Cruisin’ on a ship at sea
Dreaming as I float down a lazy river-
Jesus is always with me.
Riding down a country lane
Skiing down a mountain side
Snorkling in Australia
Splashin’ down a water slide
All you have to do is trust in Jesus
Accept His gift of grace
Join me standing in His glory
When He greets us face to face!

I look at my precious children.
I look at my lovely wife.
I look at the things around me.
I've been blessed with a wonderful life.
But, when I look at the eternal picture
It's like the blinking of an eye.
So, I set my sights on Jesus
And my mansion in the sky.
When He comes for me,
When He calls my name for glory
I'll come runnin' with my arms stretched open wide.
I've had my share of earthly hassles,
I'm ready for His heavenly castles
I'll come runnin' when He calls for me.
Look over River Jordan,
Look over Ohio.
Look at God's rightous people,
Tryin' hard to make this earth their home.
They all know what's comin'
Just around this river's bend.
Cries of hallelujahs
When this earthly life does end!

I just turned my head and acted like I didn’t know.
On my own I wound up with a broken dirty heart
I should have stayed together with You from the very start
But You believed in me, so I’ll never stop believing in You.
I’m a believer but I can’t believe the way my life has changed,
It’s all rearranged.
I’m a believer, but I can’t believe that it’s ME saying these things!
Since You came into my life everything is clear,
It’s like You turned on a light.
I’m a believer, but I can’t believe what’s happening to me.
Now we walk side by side, together day by day
I try very hard to keep our love growing that way.
Sometimes I slip and slide and even fall down on my face,
But You are always there to put my life back in it’s place
‘Cause You believe in me, so I’ll never stop believing in You.

Father's Love

She says "Daddy, can you tie my shoe?"
He helps her with her problem then He says "I love you".
Little children leaning on their dad
He's delighted in their goodness, disappointed when bad.
The image of the father is seen through a child
and passes on from age to age.
All reflect the image of the Father above.
Like children we desire the need for Father's love.
I know He's planned my steps along the way.
I know that He will never go away.
I know it's growing stronger day by day,
Father's love. My Father's love.
He says "That's all!", and the law is laid.
But, I act just like a baby when I can't get my way.
So I fight it. Overstep my bounds.
But every time I do it my way my world comes tumblin' down.
From my limited perspective it's hard to understand
the logic of my future as you reviel your plan.
Sometimes it seems I'm walking backwards and I feel that I should stop,
But you can see much clearer from the very top.
I know He's planned my steps along the way.
I know that He will never go away.
I know it's growing stronger day by day,
Father's love. My Father's love.

I catch myself running in circles
Places to go, people to see, projects to do.
Busywork keeps multiplying
But what does it mean?
It's just waisted time when this life's through.
Look at all the time we spend building up our empires,
Which are all like castles made of sand.
They stand so tall but wash away forever!
In the future what will stand in the place they now comand?
(So I'm gonna spend) More time in love with You,
Spend more time on things that last forever.
Let Your will direct my life
Let Your love shine through me in every endeavor.
More time talking to You,
To let Your words refresh and make my life new.
So every day, in every way,
I'm gonna spend much more time loving You.
You're the very reason for my life. and I Thank You,

This is my vision of perfection,
Within the boundaries of this earthly plane.
But, it can't compare to what I have waiting
When I meet the Father, Son, and all my friends in...

I've had a glimpse of my salvation
By the way He has changed me within.
